Welcome! In this blog I will be sharing my ongoing personal spiritual journey. Not in the sense that I would presume to suggest to anyone how they should go about their own journey, but perhaps you can learn something from my experiences–even if it is what not to do. Thanks for your interest and comments. See you on down the road!

Namasté
Namasté is a traditional greeting in India and Nepal (not just a way of ending a yoga class). I prefer to use this whenever possible in both greeting and saying goodbye, as this word communicates a whole concept in just one word. Namasté means that I recognize we are both an expression of the divine and I am honoring the divine within you (Namasté is accompanied with both hands in "prayer" position and a bow). It also conveys the awareness that we are essentially all one, thus there is no separation between us―we are both physical manifestations of the same essential oneness of the universe. Quite a lot to say in one word!
